Having spent a year each living in Australia and New Zealand at the turn of the century, one thing I missed on my return to Europe was a decent banana smoothie. It must contain yogurt and fiber, but ice cream has no place in a real smoothie.
1 ripe banana (peeled and chopped)
120 ml whole milk
60 ml natural yogurt (unsweetened)
1 tbsp honey
½ tbsp wheat germ (can substitute 20 g rolled oats)
